Short Stories
Here are some stories I've used or wanted to use in my English Language Arts classes. Some are hard to find, and so I have collected them here. Each contains a part of the puzzle of what makes for good story writing. Enjoy!
A murder-mystery by Japanese writer and "father of the short story" Ryūnosuke Akutagawa (1892-1927) wherein several points of view are used to ultimately reveal the mystery of a man whose body is discovered in a grove of bamboo and cedars.
