I have been teaching for over a quarter century, and I have taught a great many students and subjects in my time. Technically I have been "in school" in one form or another since I was five years old—from play school through grade school through University through teaching in the real world—something like 90% of my life.

 

But who's counting?

Apart from teaching, I have a side gig as a musician, both as a solo artist or accompanist aa well as playing in bands and various sized groups. It's a great way to make friends and influence people and stoke that creative spirit. In addition to music, I write a lot, both fiction and non-fiction, and in many forms, including stories, essays, poetry and songs. It is a means of self-expression. When I find time, I also like to express myself through art: drawing, painting, digital photography, multi-media, and lately computer web design. The world is a fascinating place, and I'm just trying to throw my contributions into the mix.
